The 2019 model of the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R now comes with a more powerful engine and also gets a host of new upgrades.
Kawasaki Motors has revealed its 2019 model of the Ninja ZX-10R in India. The current model now makes 200hp of power as compared to the previous generation model, which made 197hp. The new model also gets a host of new upgrades as compared to the outgoing model. The features include follower valve actuation, cylinder head ready for high lift cam, a red painted cylinder head cover and a dual-direction quick shifter.
Just like the outgoing model, the current model already hosts features, which include Sport-Kawasaki Traction Control(S-KTRC), Kawasaki Cornering Management Function(KCMF), aluminium swingarm, balance free rear cushion, Ohlins electronic steering damper, electronic throttle valves, three-mode power selection, Kawasaki engine brake control, high performance Brembo brake system, Showa balance free front fork, ABS, aluminium twin-spar frame. The superbike currently comes in a single seat option in India.
The 2019 model of the Ninja ZX-10R is a locally assembled one and has been developed by continuously monitoring and analyzing the race data, using it in the research and thereby producing the latest model.
The latest model being offered will be introduced in a KRT edition in the country. Pre-bookings for the superbike are open from 26 April to 30, May, 2019 and customers can book it for an amount of INR 1.5-lakhs at a Kawsaki dealership, till stocks last, as the model is available in limited numbers.
