The new 2019 version of the Figo facelift has been unveiled by Ford India. The new facelift version gets visual upgrades ,has new features and even newer engine options.
The 2019 Ford Figo facelift has been revealed by the company, a couple of days ahead of its launch. The official launch is on the 15th of March, 2019. The new car gets the following changes:
- Cosmetic upgrades
- New Engine options
- Host of new features
These upgrades are over its outgoing predecessor. The company will be launching its new car on Tinder – the mobile dating app – so as to connect with the correct TG.
The new 2019 version gets a revamped front look, a new grille and a bumper with the C-shaped bezels around the fog lamps. The rear also has changes up its sleeve and gets a revised bumper with tweaked tail lights. Going by what Ford has been changing in the interiors with its other car models, the interior of the new Figo Facelift might get a revised dashboard along with the new trademark touchscreen infotainment system. The new system supports SYNC3, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Ford India hasn’t yet revealed the engine options, but we expect that it will be the same as the ones present on the Ford Freestyle. The engine options include the tried and tested 1.5-litre TDCi diesel and the new 1.2-litre Dragon series petrol engine. The CVT version might also be on offer with the 1.5-litre Ti-VCT petrol, paired with a dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Ford India launched the older generation Figo hatchback in India in 2010, which was a turnaround product for the automaker. The company over 320,000 Figo owners in the country, which has contributed immensely to Ford’s over one million customers in India.
