Inspired from the KTM 790 Adventure R, the Husqvarna Norden 901 Concept has been unveiled at the EICMA 2019.
As soon the Norden 901 Concept was unveiled, we could see that the motorcycle has been inspired by the KTM 790 Adventure R and also borrows design cues from the company’s Svartpilen models. Not much details about the concept have been revealed yet, but the fact that the production model will be a lighter vehicle in its segment has been confirmed.
Even though it is named a concept, most of the elements currently present are touted to be carried over to the production model. Fog lamps, brake disc guards and a futuristic TFT dash split screen are expected to be carried over. The motorcycle is most likely to get smartphone connectivity and much more.
Powering the superbike is an all-new 899cc parallel-twin engine that is tuned in such a way that it helps in off-road activities and also long distance riding. Gets an upright stance, handguards, long travel suspension, round headlamp, crash guards and a fairing at the front, elements that are generally present in an ADV. In addition, the tourer gets a split TFT screen, soft-sided luggage carrier, 21-inch wheels at the front and 18-inch ones at the rear.
