MV Agusta, the Italian bike manufacturer, is raring to get its limited edition Rush 1000 – hyper naked motorcycle, into production from June, 2020. With just 300 units up for the grabs, this mean looking motorcycle is sure to woo the desires of many more.
The drag-strip inspired superbike will be ready by the end of June, 2020 for privileged owners who have pre-ordered the Rush 1000 online and via MV Agusta’s worldwide dealers network. Based on the MV Agusta Brutale 1000, the Rush 1000 will rival the Ducati Streetfighetr V4 and the Kawasaki Z H2 superbikes. Priced at approx. ₹28 lakhs, the mean looking Rush 1000 will get a long list of carbon fibre components, and feature dark metallic matt grey, Mamba red matt carbon and metallic bronze liveries.
The design of the Rush 1000 lives up to everything one would expect from an MV Agusta limited series, draws on Formula1 and MotoGP technology, and offers a thrilling out-of-this-world riding experience. The hyper naked beast gets the following features:
- An 8-level traction control and “launch control” systems
- A wire-spoke design on the front wheel, with lots of titanium fasteners
- A new five-inch, full-colour TFT display
- Bosch 9 Plus Race ABS
- Up/down quickshifter
- Wheelie control
- Electronically active Ohlins EC suspension
- 4 riding modes – Sport, Rain, Race and Custom

The Rush 1000 is powered by a 998 cc, inline four engine, that develops 208hp at 13,000rpm and 116Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm. The motorcycle has a top speed of 300kmph and a dry weight of 185kgs. It also get s a ‘Rush racing Kit’, that offers a lightweight titanium exhaust with carbon fibre cover, a passenger seat cover, also in carbon, and an ECU remap which increases the power to 212hp.
